The White Shark Trust Field Research Assistantship is proud to introduce you to our assistants:

Callum Michael CALL (Aberdeen, Scotland), Holly FRANK (Surprise, Arizona, USA), James van den BROEK (Sydney, New South Wales, Australia), and Nicola PYLE (Portsmouth, Hampshire, England).

We welcomed back Andy B. Casagrande IV to the White Shark Trust as a guest for a few weeks...

Finally a beautiful day at sea... The last few days have been overcast, but today, Sunday the 22nd of August, not a cloud in the sky, and barely any wind and a flat ocean... Great conditions! We observed five different White Sharks today, but the Sharks did not remain around the boat all the time as they have during the past couple of days... Great day!!!
The Millenium Falcon, the White Shark Trust Lancruiser we use to launch Lamnidae everyday, is unfortunately out of order, and had to be sent in to the mechanics... On Monday the 23rd of August, our assistants, James, Holly, Callum and Nicola, were invited to join the Shark Diving Unlimited team on board Barracuda, and they saw a White Shark breach!!!
Meanwhile, Michael and Andy were invited to join the Dyer Island Cruises Whale watching expedition on board their boat Whale Whisperer... It was amazing! Two Southern Right Whales were flirting just twenty meters from the boat... Wonderful! We then went to Dyer Island to look at the birds inhabiting Dyer Island and at the Cape Fur Seals on Geyser Rock...
