The White Shark Trust Field Research Assistantship is proud to introduce you to our assistants:

Callum Michael CALL (Aberdeen, Scotland), Holly FRANK (Surprise, Arizona, USA), James van den BROEK (Sydney, New South Wales, Australia), and Nicola PYLE (Portsmouth, Hampshire, England).

We welcomed back Andy B. Casagrande IV to the White Shark Trust as a guest for a few weeks...

On Thursday the 19th of August 2004, we went to sea for our fieldwork at Dyer Island, and observed seven different White Sharks... The sea was a bit choppy and the sky was unfortunately overcast, but we had a nice day with the Sharks...
In the afternoon, Michael decided to try the inshore area, known as Holbaai, where the Sharks seem to move to during our spring and summer months... It is still a bit early in the season, but who knows... And after a hour of patient waiting, four large White Sharks, all over 3.5 meters, visited Lamnidae... It was just so awsome and exciting!!!
