The White Shark Trust Field Research Assistantship is proud to introduce you to our assistants:

Anna PEZALLA (Oak Park, Illinois, USA), Benjamin WESTROPE (Wilmington, North Carolina, USA), Richard ATKINSON (Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England), and Chris MILNES (Grantham, Lincolnshore, England).

On Monday the 16th of February 2004, we managed to go to sea again... Tracey, Anne, Adam, Chris, Ben and Richard went to Die Stall (i.e. "The Barn" - Gansbaai's best dancing and partying place on Saturday nights) on Saturday evening, and had a rather late night... Reason for not going out on Sunday - And the meteorologists had wrongfully forecasted rather bad weather day for yesterday.

Another victom of our now famous "Natural Contraceptive Glasses" (Richard above)... The weather was fine today, and we observed three different White Sharks. We also visited Shark Alley between Dyer Island and Geyser Rock to look at the Cape Fur Seal colony on Geyser...

On Tuesday the 17th of February 2004, we observed three different White Sharks... The Sharks during this season are less in number and do not tend to remain around the boat for long. Nevertheless, one of the Sharks was a large four meter long White Shark, and that wonderful sight is worth a lot of emotions!!!
