The White Shark Trust Field Research Assistantship is proud to introduce you to our assistants:

Alan DUNCAN (Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland), Chris MILNES (Grantham, Lincolnshire, England), Andy CASAGRANDE (Santa Cruz, California, USA), Polly CROUCH, Alice CLARKE (London, England), and Rick HOLMES (Likely, BC, Canada).

The weather in Gansbaai indeed turned to the worse, with a big storm with heavy rain and strong winds hitting our coastline on Friday afternoon...

Andy, Alan, Chris, Rick, Tracey, Alice and Polly left early Friday morning eastwards along the Garden Route. They stayed in Knysna two nights, but they ended up partying both nights and did not undertake many (any)things during the days (except catching up with the sleep they missed during the night). On Sunday afternoon, they all went on a horseback track - the only real thing they seem to have done...

Below are some photographs taken by Andy (alias "Keen Eddy") during these three days from Friday the 24th through Sunday the 26th of October 2003...

And here are some pictures taken by Chris Milnes during this roadtrip...
And some photographs by Rick Holmes on their holiday...
And finally, some pictures taken by Alan Duncan during their adventures...
