The White Shark Trust Field Research Assistantship is proud to introduce you to our assistants:

Leonard PACE from Brooklyn (New York, USA), TJ BARANEK from Pewaukee (Wisconsin, USA), Emilio VALENTINO from Bussigny (Switzerland) and Tommaso MAGRO (Trieste, Italy).

Wednesday the 13th of August 2003 came... and the weather forecast could not have been more wrong... absolutely stunning day!

Unfortunately, the sharks were not as numerous or active as yesterday... Nonetheless, we observed four different White Sharks in great conditions!

Emilio is leaving us tomorrow... he either seems very happy to leave us or he simply is going crazy (not that TJ seems to enjoy the attention too)... who knows for sure with the Swiss? Lenny and Tommaso are both leaving the next day, while TJ is going surfing up the coastline for two weeks, and coming back for the month of September.
These are our last photographs together before this great group parts in five different directions around the world... As always a sad moment... I am just glad that we got to see some good sharks in great weather conditions the last couple of days!
