The White Shark Trust Field Research Assistantship is proud to introduce you to our assistants:

Leonard PACE from Brooklyn (New York, USA), TJ BARANEK from Pewaukee (Wisconsin, USA), Emilio VALENTINO from Bussigny (Switzerland) and Tommaso MAGRO (Trieste, Italy).

On Monday the 11th of August 2003, we managed to go to sea again... the sea was quite rough still from the previous storms - Emilio, Tommaso and Lenny felt the stomach rumble. We observed three White Sharks today - Not great for August, but three times better than the last day at sea!

FANTASTIC!!! Today, 12th of August 2003, we observed 10 (yes, TEN) different White Sharks. Most of these sharks were also large, over three meters in length! And the sea was flat with only a light breeze, but it was a cold day... It has been a while since we last had so many sharks, and such active sharks... GREAT DAY!!!
I am so glad that Tommaso, Emilio, Lenny and TJ got a great day on their last day (already)... their last day already... it seems like the last couple of months just flew by... Another storm is supposed to hit our coastline tomorrow unfortunatelly...
