Hyun KOUNNE from Cambridge (USA) and Polly CROUCH from Aberdeen (Scotland) have been with the programme since the beginning of October. Chris FLORESCU (Alwick, UK) took part of the programme as a guest since the 20th of October, and Tom FLENGERIS (Toronto, Canada) arrived on the 23rd of October. On the 1st of November, we welcomed Shelagh MacMILLAN from the UK.
On Friday the 8th of November, the wind was strong and the sea was rather rough... We only stayed at sea for a few hours in quite miserable conditions... We saw a few sharks though... all resightings!

On Sunday the 10th of November, the weather had calmed down... And we broke a new record for November (and October for that matter): 15 sharks!!!

Great day! We observed our first 11 sharks during the first three hours!!! It was a hectic day for keeping track of the sharks and recording data...

In the evening we celebrated that fantastic day with a fish "braai" (South African version of a barbecue): fresh Yellowtail and fire baked Beer Bread...
Monday the 11th of November came just as nice as the previous day... Again, we were anchored before seven in the morning to enjoy the peace... Wonderful day with another 14 sharks observed!
